I didn’t get this one for quite a while! Due to my method of learning the cards (associating them with an OC each), I can either understand a card instantly, or greatly misunderstand them. With the Chariot, I made an association with the wrong OC. This took me quite a long time to realize and correct.

Either way, here’s me writing down the meaning I’ve come to glean from this card before I can forget again.

Meaning

A little tangent here. The chariot seems to have two main meanings associated with it. Which one is chosen varies across guidebooks and sites I’ve visited. It’s honestly rare I see both in the same place.

One is about willpower, the other is about victory.

I think what ties these two together is the determination to get what you want. Though the former is more about the process getting there, while the other assumes you’ve already got it.

I dislike it when readings assume the situation I’m already in, preferring to read the cards as somewhere I could end up, if I take the steps said card describes. So I tend to lean more towards the willpower side of things here, with victory as a reward.

Upright

Victory is in your path, though you must focus to get there. This won’t be an easy win, there will be challenges, but now is a critical time to stay determined.

…Man I can’t word this right now. I’ll finish this later.

Reversed
