Jarot Deck

My main way of learning the cards is actually… through drawing each and every one of them, using my OCs as the theme for each.

Introducing the Jarot Deck! It’s still a work in progress, like most of my things are. Though I’m actually making good progress with this particular project.

Here’s a little sneak peak of some major arcana :)

Drawing each card has allowed me to take the time to study them more closely and upfront. I actually manage to slow myself down to research every card, if I convert them into my own style and apply them to my own characters.

If you missed the (kind of hidden) link up there https://tarot.pals.gay/ has a showcase of all finished cards. I’m slowly adding in details about each card and the character it’s associated with on there. Though most pages are full of lorum ipsum right now.

Some little tidbits

My favorite card, as of right now, is probably either Death as a standalone, or The Moon and The Sun if we’re going with a pair of them (The Sun is actually a work in progress still).

I’m most excited to draw The Star right now!

I do have plans for all the minor arcana, but I am focusing on the major arcana first. So I can at least have a deck I can do actual divination with if I don’t end up finishing all 56 minor arcana cards (and I probably won’t).
