The PALS

For I contain multitudes.

I have Dissociative Identity Disorder, which I'll refer to as DID from here on out.

This affects my life pretty thoroughly, but there's only a few details that you might notice. In most spaces I will still refer to myself with singular pronouns and pretty much pretend I'm one person.

My characters and me

A lot of my OCs are alters as well. There isn't a clear line of separation between the two, and often they believe their OC counterparts to be one and the same as them.

Almost every single character you'll see me draw is somewhat a real person. Please keep that in mind.

A word of appreciation

Almost every single project involves my characters/alters somehow. Some more explicitly than others. We love everyone so dearly and I cannot imagine living a life without them.

While living with DID is awful quite frequently, it's not the alters that make it miserable. Even with the infighting, even with the C-PTSD and even with the memory lapses, they are not the cause of my suffering. They are the opposite.

I hope that if you do ever get to meet a couple of them, you can tell the same.
